Mass and blessing of "The Plot" by Father Leo English, located outside
the Community Centre, by the monument of where the 1st church was built in 1848.
A collection will be taken up during mass for Branch Church Fund.

pm
Sirloin Tip Roast supper and dessert at Community Centre. $5.00 per person and
$15.00 for a family of three or more.
Names must be given for the meal by Tuesday, July 26, in order to know how much food to prepare. Amanda Kerrivan (338-2015) and Danielle Nash (338-2407) will be taking names.
A slide show of ‘then’ and ‘now’ pics will be shown and ‘then’ and ‘now’ music and songs will be played.

Hash Browns.

Children's and adult's activities will be held on the beach and outside the
Community Centre (weather permitting) If not, activities will take place inside
the Community Centre. No cover charge. Prizes will be issued to winners of each
activity.

pm 5:30 pm
The Reg Power Memorial Skeet Shooting contest will be held on back of the beach
(weather permitting) If not, rescheduled time will be announced. Three shots
for $5.00. Prizes will be issued to 1st and 2nd place winners.

Concert at the Community Centre
Performers include local singers, storytellers, dancers, musicians and special
guests include Eleanor Dawson and Linda Byrne. An excellent program is lined
up and a good time is assured for all in attendance! Feel free to come out and
celebrate our heritage and culture with us and bring a friend or two along with
you!
Cover Charge is $5.00 for Adults for concert and dance and $3.00 for Children
for concert.

Dance to the music of Brian and Tony Finn. Cover charge $5.00.

will be invited from the audience to take part in a training session once the
dance is showcased);

The Square Knot Dancers from Bell Island;
The Fatima Academy Accordion Group;

Waiting on confirmation from a couple more groups. Details will
follow.
Cover charge of $5.00 for 19 years of age and over
will cover all day and night.
**Please note the performers list for Sunday’s performance will not be in the order that they are named.
Also,
anyone who is interested in doing a hike and a cookout on Saturday, July 23rd
starting at 11 am to ‘Little Meadows’ in Branch (weather permitting)
is asked to submit their names to Amanda Kerrivan at 338-2015 and Danielle Nash
at 338-2407 in order for us to know how much food and refreshments to buy. A
bonfire and fireworks will take place on back of the beach that night starting
at 10 pm.**
